The Abbey Bakery was established in 1991 and is our principal source of income,

we bake, cut, pack and dispatch three sizes of altar breads all over the UK

small, large and concelebration bread

Each member of the community of the community has some involvement with the altar breads

Our breads are creamy white with random small crosses one side and plain the other

They do not have sealed edges and each bread is unique

We welcome new customers

We have a small monastic guest-house, where retreatants and those coming for a "quiet day" are welcomed,

We maintain flower gardens for guests and are expanding our market garden of fruit and vegetables for our own use and for sale.

We also have free- range chickens and sell eggs at the gate.

 We have extended our woodland, collaborating with the Forestry Commission in their Better Woodland Wales scheme,

 to ensure a sustainable fuel for our Bio Mass heating system and to enhance the natural beauty of our valley for generations to come.

We are also experimenting with areas of meandowland.  

 Advent 2012 we opened our ABBEY SHOP selling handmade cards, homemade jams, chutney,

christmas puddings, lavender bags, pillows & sachets, icons, prayer ropes and little books.
