Our Work

The Community earns its living making altar breads, used at the celebration of the Eucharist. Each member of the community has some involvement in this industry and the altar breads are dispatched all over the country and abroad.

We also have a small monastic guest-house, where retreatants and those coming for a "quiet day" are welcomed.

We maintain a quiet garden for guests and retreatants, as well as the Community's cloister garden, which produces pot pourri. We have recently developed a poly tunnel and raised bed, which is now in its second season of providing us with fresh vegetables and salad during the summer months.

We also have 5 acres of woodland for the use of the community and guests and we are currently exploring the options for developing a sustainable bio-fuel resource on our land.
